On the day when mountains fall
The sea turns red and Angels call
I’ll hear your name and run your way
To see you through that final day
I’ll pass through fire, earth and air
If only just to show I care
I’d take your hand and shield you from
All the terrors yet to come
The sand will scream, the stars will cry
The dead will rise and life will die
The gates of hell will open wide
And all the world will run and hide
The moon will crack, the sun will burn
And then it will become our turn
One by one, crime by crime
They’ll all be asked about their time
Most will beg and scream, “FORGIVE!”
But that is how they chose to live
